Nurtahan Riani, 2022, "Students Perception Towards The Use of Blog in Learning
English At The XIIth Grade of SMAN 13 Luwu".Thesis of
English Education Study Program. Consultant (1) Wisran, S.S,
M.Pd and (2) St. Hartina, S.Pd., M.Pd.
The research objectives are to determine the students' perception of using blogs in
English writing. This research design uses a descriptive qualitative approach. It was
conducted at the SMAN 13 Luwu (XII MIPA 3), consisting of 30 students. The
instruments in this research were questionnaires, interviews, and documentation.
The researcher collected the data through a questionnaire and interview. The
finding of this research showed students' positive perception of the use of blogs in
English writing. There are it can be seen in the questionnaire result, which was 47%
Strongly Agree, 41% Agree, Neutral 11,5%, Disagree 0,5%, and Strongly Disagree
0%. Also, the interview result shows that blog has many advantages for students. It
is easy to operate and can be used anytime and anywhere. The blog can also improve
students' enthusiasm in the learning process, especially in the writing process, and
is effective for students in this modern era. It can be suggested that blog can be
applied in the learning process because it is helpful for students.
