Agama Islam di Sekolah Menengah Atas (SMA) Negeri 3 Palopo. Skripsi

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengetahui penerapan model pembelajaran
project based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik pada
pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di SMA Negeri 3 Palopo, mengetahui
kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik di SMA Negeri 3 Palopo, mengetahui
efektivitas model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap kemampuan
berpikir kritis peserta didik di SMA Negeri 3 Palopo.
Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen. Definisi
operasional dalam penelitian ini adalah variabel independen yaitu project based
learning dan variabel dependen yaitu berpikir kritis pada pembelajaran Pendidikan
Agama Islam. Populasi dan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA
Negeri 3 Palopo tahun ajaran 2023/2024. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian
ini angket, tes dan dokumentasi. Instrumen dalam penelitian ini adalah angket dan
tes. uji validitas dan reliabilitas, teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis
deskriptif, analisis regresi linear sederhana dan analisis korelasi.
Penerapan model project based learning terhadap kemampuan berpikir
kritis peserta didik pada pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam adalah model
pembelajaran yang lebih mengutamakan peserta didik untuk berperan aktif pada
proses pembelajaran. Model project based learning dapat meningkatkan
kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik terhadap Pendidikan Agama Islam hal
tersebut dapat dilihat pada tes yang telah peneliti berikan ke peserta didik yaitu
pretest dan post-test. Project based learning juga efektif di gunakan dalam
pembelajaran karena telah diperolehan hasil pretest sebesar 32,89 dan post-test
sebesar 83,97 sehingga mengalami peningkatan sebesar 51,08%. Sedangkan peserta
didik yang menggunakan pembelajaran konvensional diperoleh hasil pretest
sebesar 32,91 dan post-test sebesar 66,03 sehingga mengalami peningkatan sebesar
33,11%. Dengan demikian kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan model
project based learning efektiv dari pada peserta didik yang menggunakan model
pembelajaran konvensional.

This study aims to: determine the application of the project based learning
learning model to the critical thinking skills of students in Islamic Religious
Education learning at SMA Negeri 3 Palopo, knowing the critical thinking skills of
students at SMA Negeri 3 Palopo, knowing the effectiveness of the project based
learning learning model on the critical thinking skills of students at SMA Negeri 3
Palopo.
The research method used is experimental research. The operational
definition in this study is the independent variable, namely project-based learning
and the dependent variable, namely critical thinking in Islamic Religious Education
learning. The population and sample in this study are grade X students of SMA
Negeri 3 Palopo for the 2023/2024 school year. Data collection techniques in this
study questionnaires, tests and documentation. The instruments in this study were
questionnaires and tests. Test validity and reliability, the data analysis techniques
used are descriptive analysis, simple linear regression analysis and correlation
analysis.
The application of the project-based learning model to students' critical
thinking skills in Islamic Religious Education learning is a learning model that
prioritizes students to play an active role in the learning process. The project-based
learning model can improve students' critical thinking skills towards Islamic
Religious Education, this can be seen in the tests that researchers have given to
students, namely pretest and post-test. Project-based learning is also effective in
learning because pre-test results of 32.89 and post-test results of 83.97 have been
obtained so that it has increased by 51.08%. While students who use conventional
learning obtained pretest results of 32.91 and post-test of 66.03 so that they
increased by 33.11%. Thus, the ability to think critically of students with project-
based learning models is effective than students who use conventional learning
models.
