This research aimed to determine whether there is improve the listening skills and
perception of students after using The Simon Says Game in the fifth grade at SDN
018 Bulili.? The usefulness of the Simon Says Game in enhancing fifth-grade
students' listening comprehension at SDN 018 Bulili is the subject of this thesis. It
used pre-experimental research with a single group pre-test and post-test design,
using SDN 018 Bulili fifth-grade kids as the study population. There was this
research study about 45 pupils in all, divided into two classes, which make up the
population of this study in the fifth grade. in particular, class V.A. In 2022/2023,
there were 11 female students and 11 male students enrolled in SDN 018 Bulili.
Purposive sampling was used with a sample of twenty-two pupils. Using SPSS 20,
the data were computed and subjected to a descriptive statistical analysis. The
findings showed that, compared to the pre-test (37,23), the students' mean score on
the post-test (54,82) was higher. The t-table (0.837) was lower than the t-count
(21.028). It shows that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected and the alternative
hypothesis (H1) was accepted. It can be said that using the Simon Says game
improves pupils' listening comprehension.
