Abstract
ABSTRACT
Noperlianti Sarira, 2023 "Development of a Reading and Writing Literacy Based
Togetherness Subject Module in Class II of SDN 41 Batu Putih, Palopo
City". Thesis for Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program,
Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Palopo State Islamic Institute.
The aim of this research is to determine the needs analysis, form of development
and practicality of the literacy-based literacy-based togetherness subject module.
The research method used is Research and Development (R&D). Product
development uses the ADDIE model which is limited to only four stages, namely,
(1) analysis stage, (2) design stage, (3) development stage, and (4) implementation
stage. The research was conducted at SDN 41 Batu Putih school, Palopo City, with
research subjects namely teachers and class II students. The data collection
techniques used were observation, teacher interviews, student questionnaires, and
documentation. The results of the needs analysis research showed that students need
learning modules based on reading and writing literacy to improve students' ability
to read and understand the content of reading texts. researchers developed literacy�based printed modules on theme 7 subtheme 2. Learning module design, including
activities: (1). Planning work time, (2) Determining material, (3) Searching for
supporting material, and (4) Determining the order of presentation. The module that
has been developed is then validated by 3 validators including: material expert
validator, design expert and language expert validator. The product validation
results from the material validator obtained 85.5%, the design expert obtained 85%
and the linguist obtained 92.75%. These two percentage results can be categorized
as very valid. The practicality of the reading and writing literacy-based togetherness
subject module obtained a result of 81.67% which was categorized as very practical.
This shows that the learning module is very valid and practical for use by teachers
and students.
