Judul Tesis : Childfree Dalam Perspektif Huk um Islam

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah : untuk mengetahui bagaimana pandangan
pasangan suami istri terhadap childfree, untuk mengtahui faktor-faktor yang membuat
pasangan suami istri melakukan childfree, untuk mengetahui bagaimana tinjaun Islam
terhadap childfree.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian studi kepustakaan (Library
Research), dengan pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan
normatif dimana permasalahan yang terjadi dikaitkan dengan norma-norma hukum
Islam, sumber primer dalam penelitian ini adalah jurnal, artikel dan buku melalui
literatur dengan mencari bahan bacaan sesuai dengan masalah yang dibahas yaitu
tentang childfree.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa pasangan suami istri yang mengambil
keputusan untuk childfree atau tidak memiliki anak didasari atas keputusan bersama,
pihak wanita yang sangat ingin untuk melakukan childfree karena para wanita merasa
terbebani jika harus mengandung anak dan wanita yang tidak melahirkan akan terlihat
awet muda, mereka dapat melanjutkan karir tanpa harus dibebani dengan kehadiran
anak, dari literatur yang peneliti baca terdapat fakta bahwa bahwa childfree banyak
dilakukan diperkotaan dengan perkembangan zaman yang terus berkembang maka para
pasangan akan mudah untuk memilih melakukan childfree karena adanya perubahan
gaya hidup beberapa pasangan suami istri, ada beberapa alasan mengapa pasangan
suami istri melakukan childfree yaitu karena faktor ekonomi, mental, budaya,
lingkungan, dan juga overpopulasi, jika ditinjau dari hukum Islam tidak ada ayat dalam
Al-qur‟an yang melarang childfree namun jika dikaitkan dengan tujuan pernikahan
yaitu memperoleh keturunan hal ini yang membuatnya dilarang sehingga dari penelitian
ini childfree ditinjau dari perspektif hukum Islam itu bertentangan jika dilakukan oleh
suami istri yang dengan sengaja tidak ingin menghadirkan anak dalam pernikahannya.

The purpose of this research is: to find out how the views of married couples on
childfree, to know the factors that make married couples do childfree, to find out how
Islamic tinjaun against childfree.
This research uses a library study research method (Library Research), with the
approach used in this research is a normative approach where the problems that occur
are associated with the norms of Islamic law, the primary sources in this study are
journals, articles and books through literature by looking for reading material in
accordance with the issues discussed, namely about childfree.
The results of this study indicate that married couples who make the decision to
childfree or not have children are based on a joint decision, the woman who really
wants to do childfree because the women feel burdened if they have to bear children
and women who do not give birth will look young, they can continue their careers
without having to be burdened with the presence of children, from the literature that
researchers read there is the fact that childfree is mostly done in urban areas with the
development of times that continues to develop, couples will easily choose to do
childfree because of changes in the lifestyle of some married couples. there are several
reasons why married couples do childfree, There are several reasons why married
couples do childfree, namely because of economic, mental, cultural, environmental
factors, and also overpopulation, when viewed from Islamic law there are no verses in
the Qur'an that prohibit childfree, but if it is related to the purpose of marriage, namely
obtaining offspring, this is what makes it prohibited so that from this research
childfree from the perspective of Islamic law is contradictory if done by a husband and
wife who deliberately do not want to present children in their marriage.
