Peningkatan Mutu Pendidikan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah
Btusitanduk Skripsi Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan
Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan Institiut Agama
Islam Negeri Palopo. Dibimbing oleh Sumardin Raupu dan Eka
Poppi Hutami.
Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah Efektivitas Peran dan Fungsi Komite
Sekolah Terhadap Peningkatan Mutu Pendidikan di Madrasah Tsanawiyah
Batusitanduk. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan: (1)
Efektivitas komite sekolah dalam bekerja sama dengan orang tua dan masyarakat
untuk menyelenggarakan pendidikan yang bermutu di MTs Batusitanduk (2)
Efektivitas komite sekolah dalam mendorong partisipasi orang tua dan masyarakat
untuk menyelenggarakan pendidikan yang bermutu di MTs Batusitanduk.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis
deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu observasi,
wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kepala madrasah
MTs Batusitanduk, Ketua komite, Wakil humas dan orang tua/masyarakat. Data
diperoleh dari wawancara dan dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Efektivitas komite sekolah
dalam bekerja sama dengan orang tua siswa dan masyarakat dilihat dari semua
indikator dapat dikatakan cukup efektif hal ini dibuktikan bahwa; a) komunikasi
yang cukup baik dalam membina hubungan yang haromis dengan masyarakat, b)
partisipasi masyarakat hanya sebatas dalam dukungan program sekolah c)
partisipasi dalam memberikan saran dan masukan terhadap pembangunan sarana
prasarana. (2) Komite sekolah dalam mendorong partisipasi orang tua dan
masyarakat dikatakan belum terlaksana dengan efektif” karena berbagai upaya
belum maksimal dilakukan hal ini dapat dibuktikan bahwa ; a) tidak berjalanya
program khusus komite madrasah, b) Rapat komite belum aktif dilaksanakan, c)
minimnya partisipasi mayarakat dalam rapat yang diadakan karena kesibukan
orang tua siswa dan masyarakat dengan pekerjaanya sebagai petani dan jarang
memiliki waktu luang untuk mengikuti rapat, d) komunikasi yang dijalin sering
terjadinya salah pengertian karena jarang mengikuti rapat komite, Adapun upaya
yang sudah komite lakukan diantara: Melibatkan partisipasi masyarakat untuk
mendukung program kegaiatan madrasah. Beberapa upaya komite lakukan belum
mendapat hasil yang maksimal oleh karena itu perlu adanya upaya konkrit yang
lebih dilakukan oleh komite school untuk meningkatkan peran serta masyarakat
sekitar.

The main focus of this research is the Effectiveness Role and Function off
the shool Committee in improving the quality of education Committee at Madrasah
Tsanawiyah Btusitanduk. This research aims to determine and describe: (1) The
effectiveness of the madrasa committee in collaborating with parents and the
community to provide quality education at MTs Batusitanduk (2) The effectiveness
of the madrasa committee in encouraging parent and community participation to
provide quality education at MTs Batusitanduk.
The type of research used is a qualitative approach with a qualitative
descriptive type. The data collection techniques used were observation, interviews
and documentation studies. The subjects of this research were the head of the
Batusitanduk MTs madrasah, committee chair, public relations representative and
parents/community. Data obtained from interviews and documentation
The results of this research show that: (1) School Comitte committee in
collaborating with parents and the community, seen from all indicators, can be said
to be quite effective. This is proven by; a) fairly good communication in fostering
harmonious relationships with the community, b) Community participation is
limited to supporting school programs, c) participation in providing suggestions and
input for the development of infrastructure. (2) It is said that the effectiveness of
the School committe in encouraging parent and community participation has not
been implemented effectively" because various efforts have not been carried out
optimally. This can be proven by; a) special madrasa committee programs are not
running, b) committee meetings have not been actively held, c) minimal community
participation in meetings held due to students' parents and the community being
busy with their work as farmers and rarely having free time to attend meetings, d)
poor communication there are frequent miscommunications due to rarely attending
committee meetings. The efforts that the committee has made include: Involving
community participation to support madrasah activity programs. Some of the efforts
made by the committee have not received maximum results, therefore there needs
to be more concrete efforts made by the school committee to increase the
participation of the surrounding community.

ونوع البحث املستخدم هو منهج نوعي مع نوع وصفي نوعي. وكانت تقنيات مجع البياانت
املستخدمة هي املالحظة واملقابالت ودراسات التوثيق. كانت موضوعات هذا البحث هي رئيس مدرسة
MTs Batusitanduk، ورئيس اللجنة، وممثل العالقات العامة وأولياء األمور/اجملتمع. البياانت اليت مت
احلصول عليها من املقابالت والواثئق.
تظهر نتائج هذا البحث أن: )1( فعالية جلنة Batusitanduk يف MTs يف التعاون مع
أولياء األمور واجملتمع، من خالل مجيع املؤشرات، ميكن القول أبهنا فعالة للغاية. وقد مت إثبات ذلك من

مشاركة جمتمعية عالية للعمل مع

اجملتمعية لدعم برامج أنشطة املدرسة. مل حتقق بعض جهود اللجنة احلد األقصى من النتائج، وابلتايل جيب
بذل املزيد من اجلهود امللموسة من قبل جلنة املدرسة لزايدة مشاركة اجملتمع احمليط.
