Nurul Hikma, 2024.“Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving
(CPS) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis pada materi
himpunan Siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Palopo”.Skripsi Program
Studi Pendidikan Matematika Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu Keguruan
Institut Agama Islam Negeri Palopo.Dibimbing oleh Sumardin Raupu dan
Megasari.
Skripsi ini membahas tentang efektivitas model pembelajaran Creative
Problem Solving (CPS) dalam meningkatkan pemecahan masalah matematika
siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Palopo.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk
mengetahui kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa sebelum dan
sesudah menggunakan model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS).
Penelitian ini juga bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah model pembelajaran
Creative Problem Solving (CPS) efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah
matematissiswa di kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Palopo.
Jenis penelitian ini yaitu true eksperimental design tipe pre-test and post-
test kontrol group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian adalah
cluster random sampling, dengan jumlah sampel 32 orang siswa. Data diperoleh
melalui tes.Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan
statistik inferensial.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi kenaikan yang signifikan
pada nilai rata-rata post test, dimana nilai rata-rata pre testtermasuk dalam
kategori sangat kurang dan nilai rata-rata post test termasuk dalam kategoribaik.
Berdasarkan perhitungan rata-rata kedua data tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan
bahwa , yang artinya bahwa model pembelajaran Creative Problem
Solving (CPS)efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa.
Dimana nilai rata-rata pemecahan masalah matematis siswa sebelum
menggunakan model pembelajaram Creative Problem Solving (CPS) lebih
rendah dari nilai rata-rata pemecahan masalah matematis siswa sesudah
menggunakan model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving (CPS).

This thesis discusses the effectiveness of the Creative Problem Solving (CPS)
learning model in improving mathematics learning outcomes for class VII
students at SMP Negeri 1 Palopo. This research aims to determine students'
mathematical problem solving abilities before and after using the Creative
Problem Solving (CPS) learning model. This research also aims to find out
whether the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model is effective on
students' mathematical problem solving abilities in class VII at SMP Negeri 1
Palopo.
This type of research is true experimental design type pre-test and post-test
control group design. The sampling technique in the research was cluster random
sampling, with a sample size of 32 students. Data obtained through tests. Then the
data was analyzed using descriptive statistics and inferential statistics.
The research results showed that there was a significant increase in the average
post test score, where the average pre test score was included in the very poor
category and the average post test score was included in the good category. Based
on the average calculation of these two data, it can be concluded that
t_count>t_tabel, which means that the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning
model is effective on students' mathematical problem solving abilities. Where the
average value of students' mathematical problem solving before using the
Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning model is lower than the average value
of students' mathematical problem solving after using the Creative Problem
Solving (CPS) learning model.
