Di Tanah Toraja”. Skripsi Program Studi Ekonomi Syariah Fakultas

Skripsi ini membahas tentang Implementasi Labelisasi Halal Industri
Rumah Makan Di Tanah Toraja.
rumah makan Tanah Toraja. Pertama, penelitian tersebut menyoroti pentingnya
sertifikasi halal oleh lembaga seperti MUI meskipun seringkali terhambat oleh
birokrasi.
terlibat.

ABSTRACT
Soraya Fitri Aulia, 2024. "Implementation of Halal Labeling for the Restaurant
Industry in Tanah Toraja". Sharia Economics Study Program Thesis,
Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business, Palopo State Islamic Institute.
Guided by the Mujahideen
This thesis discusses the implementation of halal labeling for the
restaurant industry in Toraja. This research aims to determine the implementation
of halal labeling on restaurant products in Tanah Toraja, and the factors that hinder
the implementation of halal labeling on products in restaurants in Tanah Toraja.
The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. The
subject of this research is the owner of a halal restaurant in Tanah Toraja. Data
was obtained from observation, interviews and documentation studies.
The results of this research reveal two aspects related to halal labeling in
Tanah Toraja restaurants. First, research on halal labeling in Tanah Toraja
restaurants highlights several things. First, halal certification by institutions such
as the MUI is important even though it is often hampered by bureaucracy.
Restaurant owners are trying to overcome this with better coordination. Second,
information about halal products is important for Muslim consumers, even though
they are not yet certified. Transparency such as the placement of information labels
and active interaction helps. Third, regular supervision by the MUI maintains
compliance and trust in the halal label. Restaurant owners recognize the
importance of oversight and welcome input to improve compliance. Second, there
is a need for information about halal products for Muslim consumers, even though
they are not yet certified, where transparency such as the placement of information
labels and active interaction plays an important role. Apart from that, regular
supervision by the MUI is also considered important in maintaining compliance
and trust in the halal label, which restaurant owners recognize and are ready to
accept input to improve compliance. However, the implementation of halal labeling
in Tanah Toraja restaurants faces several inhibiting factors, including customer
preferences that prioritize taste and price over halal labels, as well as a lack of
understanding of the halal concept which hinders the correct implementation of
halal labeling practices. The main challenge in implementing this is the lack of
understanding and the complexity of the existing bureaucracy.
