Abstract

ABSTRACT
Pinra Langit Burham, 2024, "An Analysis of Teacher Strategies in Teaching
English at MAN Palopo". This thesis was completed in the English
Education Study Program at the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty
of the State Islamic Institute of Palopo, under the supervision of Amalia
Yahya and Fadhliyah Rahmah Muin.
This research explores the teaching strategies employed by English teachers at
MAN Palopo to enhance students' comprehension. Adopting a descriptive
qualitative approach, the research seeks to assess the effectiveness of these
strategies. The primary focus is on English instructors at MAN Palopo, with
secondary emphasis on evaluating student comprehension levels. Data collection
methods include observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal
various diverse and effective teaching strategies utilized by English teachers at
MAN Palopo, highlighting the importance of adaptability, student engagement, and
the complex nature of language instruction challenges.
