Andi Ananda Tasya, 2024, “Developing English Material Students’ E
Worksheet Through Liveworksheets.com For The Tenth Grade Of
SMAN 3 Palopo‖. A thesis on the English Language Education
Research Program of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of State
Islamic Institute Palopo, supervised by Sahraini and Andi Tenrisanna
Syam.
This research aimed to develop the appropriate English material in students' e
worksheets through liveworksheets.com for the tenth-grade students at SMAN 3
Palopo. The research questions for this research are "(1) What is the need analysis
of the English material students‘ e-worksheet for the tenth-grade students at
SMAN 3 Palopo? (2) How to develop an appropriate English material students‘ e
worksheet through Liveworksheets.com for the tenth-grade students at SMAN 3
Palopo? (3) What is the evaluation for the English material students‘ e-worksheet
for the tenth-grade students at SMAN 3 Palopo?". Based on the description the
research objectives are (1) to find out the need analysis of the English material
students‘ e-worksheet for the tenth-grade students at SMAN 3 Palopo; (2) to
develop an appropriate English material students‘ e-worksheet for the tenth-grade
students at SMAN 3 Palopo; (3) to find out the evaluation for the English material
students‘ e-worksheet for the tenth-grade students at SMAN 3 Palopo. The
researcher applied Research and Development by adopting the ADDIE model.
The researcher collected data through interviews, questionnaires, and expert
validation. Furthermore, the results of this research are (1) data analysis findings
show that students need e-worksheet media because they can be used as learning
media in any place. The students have a lack of pronunciation and lack of
vocabulary, and their English level is still Basic. The students want a topic of self
introduction and also the wonderful of Indonesia, want the vocabulary aspect in
the e-worksheet, and want complete material with pictures and illustrations. (2)
The appropriate students' e-worksheets through liveworksheets.com for the tenth
grade students at SMAN 3 Palopo covers: the e-worksheet material is designed
with learning objectives tailored to the students' needs and syllabus; It includes
grammatical items; Two material units: self-introduction and the Wonderful of
Indonesia (descriptive text); The e-worksheet contains student-centered activities,
which encourage communication in the target language and consider different
learning styles; attractive layout and media. (3) Then, the evaluation of English
material students‘ e-worksheet media fulfills the requirements as ―Excellent‖.
Based on all expert assessments, it scored 4.27 in the "Excellent" category. Apart
from that, the average student perception scored 4.42 in the "Excellent" category,
and the teacher's perception got the "Excellent" category with a a score 4.87. As a
result, this English language material is appropriate for tenth graders at SMAN 3
Palopo
