Annisa Wisran, (2022).“The Effectiveness of Using Digital Worksheets Through
Wizer.me Website in Attaining Fundamental English Language Competencies at
10th Grade Students of SMAN 3 Palopo”, Thesis of English Education Study
Program, Faculty of Education and Teacher Training, Institut Agama Islam Negeri
Palopo (IAIN) Palopo. Supervised by Wisran and Husnaini.
This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using digital worksheets through the
Wizer.me platform to enhance basic English competencies among 10th grade students at
Senior High School Number 3 (SMAN 3) Palopo. This study employed pre-experimental
method to examine the improvement of four aspects of basic English competencies,
including listening, reading, speaking, and writing among the students. The population of
this research was 10th grade students of SMAN 3 Palopo. From this population, 36
students were selected as sample of the research using purposive sampling technique. The
result of the study showed that the t-test value (18.90) was higher than the t-table value
(2.03). This finding indicates that using digital worksheets through Wizer.me are effective
in improving the basic English competencies of students at SMAN 3 Palopo. The results
of this study are expected to serve as an innovative and effective teaching method to
improve English competencies at high school level, provide guidance for teachers and
educators in integrating digital technology into their English learning curriculum and to
help improve the quality of their English digital teaching.
