Relvi, 2022, “Development English Learning Module at Eighth Grade of MTS
Darul Istiqamah Cilallang”. A thesis of English Language Education

Institute of Palopo. Consultan (1) Sahraini and (2) Yuyun Ruqiyyat Said.
The research focused on Development English Learning Module Eighth Grade of
MTS Darul Istiqamah Cilallang. The research answered the question: How to
develop an English learning module for eighth grade students of MTS (1) Darul
Istiqamah cilallang (2) What is appropriate English Learning Module for eighth
grade of MTS Darul Istiqamah Cilallang? the research uses Research and
Development research methods by applying 4-D (Define, Design, Develop,
Disseminate). The population in this study was grade eight as many as thirty
students. The research data obtained through interview instruments and
questionnaires from needs anaylis, instrument experts and product validity, and
student perceptions. This product is design based on data from the needs analysis
of eighth grade students at MTS Darul Istiqamah Cilallang. An appropriate english
learning module English learning module school consist of: 1) Several chapters; 2)
Basic materials; 3) Examples of sentences that realte to everyday life; 4) Some
practice questions. The product design was tested on 30 students of eighth grade of
MTS Darul Istiqamah Cilallang. The results of student perceptions get 91.4% in the
“Excellent” category.
