Matematika Siswa Kelas VII MTs Satap Datok Sulaiman Palopo”
Skripsi Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Fakultas Tarbiyah
dan Ilmu Keguruan. Institut Agama Islam Negeri IAIN Palopo,
dibimbing oleh Mardi Takwim dan Sumardin Raupu.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika
siswa kelas VII MTs Satap Datok Sulaiman Palopo Tahun Ajaran 2022/2023
melalui metode scaffolding.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang
dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas
VIIB MTs Satap Datok Sulaiman Palopo yang berjumlah 20 orang siswa. Teknik
pengumpulan data yang dilakukan oleh peneliti berupa observasi, tes dan
dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis secara kuantitatif dan
kualittaif.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I diperoleh hasil
belajar matematika siswa materi penyajian data dengan rata-rata 69,75 dan
termasuk kategori “rendah” Jumlah siswa yang tuntas 11 siswa dengan
persentase ketuntasan klasikal 55% dan yang tidak tuntas 9 siswa sedangkan pada
siklus II diperoleh hasil belajar matematika siswa materi penyajian data dengan
rata-rata 80 25 dan termasuk kategori “tinggi” Jumlah siswa yang tuntas 16 siswa
dengan persentase ketuntasan klasikal 80% dan yang tidak tuntas 4 siswa.
Adapun rata-rata persentase aktvitas siswa pada siklus I sebesar 58,12%
tergolong kategori “cukup” dan rata-rata persentase aktivitas siswa pada siklus II
se esar 78 75% tergolong pada kategori “ aik” sedangkan rata-rata persentase
aktvitas guru pada siklus I se esar 72 05% tergolong kategori “ aik” dan rata-rata
persentase aktivitas siswa pada siklus II sebesar 81,61% tergolong pada kategori
“ aik sekali” Dari hasil penelitian ini metode scaffolding dapat meningkatkan
hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VII MTs Satap Datok Sulaiman Palopo.

This study aims to increase the interest and learning outcomes of class VII
students of MTs Satap Datok Sulaiman Palopo Academic Year 2022/2023
through the scaffolding method.
This research is a class action research (PTK) which was carried out in two
cycles. The subjects of this study were students of class VIIB MTs Satap Datok
Sulaiman Palopo, totaling 20 students. Data collection techniques carried out by
researchers in the form of observation, tests and documentation. The collected
data were then analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively.
The results of this study indicate that in the first cycle the results of
students' mathematics learning in data presentation material were obtained with an
average of 69.75 and included in the "low" category. The number of students who
completed 11 students with a percentage of classical completeness was 55% and 9
students who did not complete, while in cycle II the results of students'
mathematics learning on data presentation material were obtained with an average
of 80.25 and included in the "high" category. The number of students who
completed 16 students with a percentage of 80% classical completeness and 4
students who did not complete. The average percentage of student activity in cycle
I was 58.12% belonging to the "enough" category and the average percentage of
student activity in cycle II was 78.75% belonging to the "good" category while the
average percentage of teacher activity in cycle I was 72.05% belonging to the
"good" category and the average percentage of student activity in cycle II was
81.61% belonging to the "very good" category. From the results of this study, the
scaffolding method can increase the interest and learning outcomes of class VII
students of MTs Satap Datok Sulaiman Palopo.
