Mahendra, 2023. "Evaluation of the Professional Training Practice Program of
the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of IAIN Palopo." Thesis
of the Islamic Education Management Study Program, Faculty of
Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Palopo State Islamic Institute.
Supervised by Sumardin Raupu and Firman Patawari.
This thesis discusses the Evaluation of the Professional Training Practice
Program (PLP) of the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of IAIN Palopo.
This research aims: To determine the context of the PLP program at the Faculty
of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, IAIN Palopo; To find out the input for the PLP
program at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, IAIN Palopo; To find
out the process of the PLP program at the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher
Training, IAIN Palopo; and to find out about the PLP program products of the
Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of IAIN Palopo. This research includes
evaluation research using a qualitative descriptive method approach. This type of
evaluation research uses the CIPP model (context, input, process, and product).
The data in this research consists of primary data and secondary data. Data was
obtained through interviews and documentation. The steps in data analysis are
data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this
research are: In the context aspect, the PLP program is considered relevant to the
vision and mission of the Tarbiyah and Teacher Training Faculty of IAIN Palopo
and the needs of current educational trends. This program has a positive impact
on both students, campuses and schools. Students can implement and practice
their teaching skills, campuses can carry out their obligations to organize PLP
programs, and schools can get help from teaching staff; Input aspects consisting
of human resources, student quality, and stakeholder cooperation are considered
adequate for implementing the PLP FTIK IAIN Palopo program. This program is
running smoothly to date because of adequate resources and cooperation from
various parties; Process aspects, namely program implementation, evaluation of
program smoothness, and innovation in the program are carried out well and in
accordance with established procedures; and The product aspect is considered
good because it meets the standards and expectations of the committee, faculty
and students participating in the program.
