Muh. Idel, 2024, "Implementation of the Multi-Class Learning Model (PKR) as an
Effort to Fulfill Teachers at SDN 068 Manganan, Rongkong District" Thesis
of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program, Faculty of
Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Palopo State Islamic Institute. Supervised
by Edhy Rustan and Hezbollah.
This thesis discusses the implementation of multi-grade learning at SDN
068 Manganan, Rongkong District, where in the implementation process there are
certain obstacles and factors so that it is implemented.
The objectives of this research are: (1) To find out the picture of teacher
fulfillment at SDN 068 Manganan, Rongkong District. (2) Understand the
description of the implementation of PKR at SDN 068 Manganan, Rongkong
District. (3) Knowing the implementation of PKR in meeting the needs of teachers
at SDN 068 Manganan, Rongkong District. In the research method, a qualitative
approach was used, by taking data at SDN 068 Manganan, Rongkong District, then
processing the data. The type of research is descriptive qualitative, by going directly
to the field and observing events at SDN 068 Manganan, Rongkong District to
collect data. Data collection is documentation, observation, interviews.
The results of the research are (1) The occurrence of multiple classes is
caused by two main factors. First, the geographical location or area of the school
where the teacher teaches causes the teacher to take the initiative in organizing
multigrade classes. Second, the lack of teaching staff is another factor that causes
multiple classes because there are still not enough teacher placements, so teachers
take the initiative and opportunity to teach at SD Manganan 068, Rongkong
District. (2) There are many ways to implement PKR (Character and Religious
Education). One of them is the presence of teachers who always pay attention to
and understand the conditions and situations experienced by students while
studying at the school. This shows that there is awareness of the importance of
character formation and religious values in the learning process, which is
implemented through the understanding and attention given by teachers to students.
3. The challenges in meeting teachers' needs in learning priorities and
implementation of multigrade classes can be said to include various aspects that
need to be improved and paid attention to by teachers and the local government.
These challenges include providing sufficient resources, such as insufficient
teaching staff and inadequate learning facilities.
