Ushuuddin, Adab and Da'wah, Palopo State Islamic Institute.
Supervised by Baso Hasyim and Jumriani
This thesis discusses public relations strategies in building corporate image at PT
Masmindo Dwi Area Luwu Regency. This thesis aims to (1) find out public
relations strategies in building a company image and (2) find out obstacles are
experienced by public relations. The type of research is what descriptive
qualitative research. Research data was reinforcement for the data collection
process.
Next, the data was analyzed using the Nine steps of Public Relations theory. The
research results show that: (1) the strategy used by the Public Relations of PT
Masmindo Dwi Area Luwu Regency is the dissemination of information or
disclosure of company information and the Corporate Social Responsibility or
CSR program. The strategies used by Public Relations are influential in building
the company's image. (2) The obstacles experienced by public relations at PT
Masmindo Dwi Area Luwu Regency were misunderstandings regarding the
mining process, lack of communication between the community and company
crew, and lack of use of technology.
