This thesis about improve reading skill students' throught the let’s read application
effective in teaching reading at the 2nd Grade Students At MAN Al-Mawasir
Lamasi. The objective of the research is to to find out whether or not the use of
Let’s Read Application effective to improve students' reading skill of 2nd grade
students at MAN Al-Mawasir Lamasi. This research applied pra-experimental.
The research was carried out in one classes, pre-test and post-test. The population
of this research was the 2nd grade students at MAN Al-Mawasir Lamasi. The
samples of this research were 20 students. The sampling technique in this research
was random sampling. The instrument of this research were reading test. The
research gave pretest and posttest to the students. The data was analyzed by using
SPSS 24. The result of this research showed that the effectiveness of let’s read
application in teaching reading narrative text is effective. It could be seen from the
result of calculation that the students’ score in pretest which was higher than
students’ score in posttest. The mean score of pretest was higher than the mean
score of pretest (78.000). While in posttest the mean score of post-test was also
higher than the mean score of pre-test (83.8333). It means that there was
significant difference between the students’ pre-test score in improving reading
skill.
