Abstract
ABSTRACT
Hikmal Saufri, 2024. “Implementation of Class Management in Improving the
Learning Process Teaching at SMP Negeri 1 Bonglo Satap”. Islamic
Education Management Study Program Thesis, Faculty Of Tarbiyah
and Teacher Training, Palopo State Islamic Institute, supervised by
Hilal Mahmud and Firman Patawari.
This thesis discusses the implementation of classroom management at
SMP Negeri 1 Bonglo Satap. This research aims to find out how the
implementation of classroom management improves the teaching and learning
process at SMP Negeri 1 Bonglo Satap.
The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach. This type of
research is descriptive qualitative, it is hoped that it will reveal a picture of the
reality of the research target, namely the implementation of classroom management
in improving the teaching and learning process at SMP Negeri 1 Bonglo Satap.
The research results show that classroom management planning before
learning is carried out is necessary, such as preparing lesson plans, material
syllabus and preparing other instruments such as learning materials, teaching
materials and learning guidelines. When implementing learning, teachers must be
able to implement classroom management so that students feel safe and
comfortable so that students can play an active role in the learning process. The
methods used by teachers at SMPN 1 Bonglo Satap so that students can be active
in class are first, controlling the socio-emotional students, providing understanding
or motivation to learn to students, arranging the class to make it more comfortable,
providing examples or explaining by relating it to the phenomenon or condition
that is occurring. occurs in the environment where students live. In implementing
classroom management skills, it is necessary to pay attention to skill components
related to the creation and maintenance of optimal learning conditions. This relates
to a teacher's ability to take the initiative and control the lesson. This is also always
implemented by teachers at SMPN 1 Bonglo Satap, according to our interviews
with teachers and students.
