Pengembangan Soft Skill Peserta Didik di SMA Negeri 1 Luwu”. Skripsi
Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Ilmu
Keguruan, Institut Agama Islam Negeri Palopo. Dibimbing oleh
Muhammad Guntur dan Firman Patawari.
Skripsi ini membahas tentang Pengaruh Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka
terhadap Pengembangan Soft Skill Peserta Didik di SMA Negeri 1 Luwu.
Penelitian ini bertujuan; 1) Untuk mengetahui gambaran implementasi kurikulum
merdeka di SMA Negeri 1 Luwu, 2) Untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh
implementasi kurikulum merdeka terhadap pengembangan soft skill (kecakapan
mengenal diri, kecakapan berpikir rasional, serta kemampuan sosial) peserta didik
di SMA Negeri 1 Luwu.
Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan
deskriptif. Adapun populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI pada tahun
ajaran 2023/2024 sebanyak 427 orang peserta didik. Yang kemudian pengambilan
sampelnya dilakukan dengan menggunakan rumus Yamane yang menghasilkan
sampel sebanyak 207 orang peserta didik. Data diperoleh melaui kuesioner yang
disebar menggunakan google form, yang kemudian diolah menggunakan teknik
analisis statistik inferensial.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan; 1) Implementasi kurikulum merdeka di
SMA Negeri 1 Luwu telah diterapkan sejak tahun ajaran 2022/2023 pada kelas X
(sepuluh) yang berjumlah 427 orang yang tersebar di 12 kelas. Penelitian
dilakukan pada tahun ajaran 2023/2024, dalam hal ini implementasi kurikulum
merdeka di SMA Negeri 1 Luwu telah berjalan selama 1 tahun dan masih berjalan
dengan baik hingga saat ini, 2) Implementasi kurikulum merdeka berpengaruh
positif terhadap pengembangan soft skill peserta didik di SMA Negeri 1 Luwu,
dalam hal ini pengaruh yang diberikan variabel kurikulum merdeka terhadap
pengembangan soft skill adalah sebesar 8.5%.

This thesis discusses the effect of implementing the Merdeka Curriculum
on developing students' soft skills at SMA Negeri 1 Luwu. This research aims; 1)
To find out the description of the implementation of the independent curriculum at
SMA Negeri 1 Luwu, 2) To find out how much influence the implementation of
an independent curriculum has on the development of soft skills (self-knowledge
skills, rational thinking skills, and social skills) of students at SMA Negeri 1
Luwu.
This study uses a type of quantitative research with a descriptive approach.
The population in this study were all grade XI in the 2023/2024 school year as
many as 427 students. Which then the sampling was carried out using the Yamane
formula which resulted in a sample of 207 students. Data was obtained through a
questionnaire distributed using google form, which was then processed using
inferential statistical analysis techniques.
The results showed; 1) The implementation of the independent curriculum
at SMA Negeri 1 Luwu has been implemented since the 2022/2023 school year in
class X (ten) totaling 427 people spread across 12 classes. The research was
conducted in the 2023/2024 school year, in this case the implementation of the
independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Luwu has been running for 1 year and is
still running well until now, 2) The implementation of the independent curriculum
has a positive effect on the development of soft skills of students at SMA Negeri 1
Luwu, in this case the influence given by the independent curriculum variable on
soft skill development is 8.5%.
