Abstract

Sumantri, 2024 “Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja dan Persepsi Guru tentang Supervisi
Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru SMPN 1 Bone-Bone".
Tesis Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, Institut
Agama Islam Negeri Palopo, Dibimbing oleh Hilal Mahmud dan
Mahadin Shaleh.
Penelitian ini membahas Pengaruh Motivasi Kerja dan Persepsi Guru
tentang Supervisi Kepala Sekolah terhadap Kinerja Guru di SMPN 1 Bone-Bone
pasca pandemi. Tujuannya adalah menentukan pengaruh masing-masing variabel
dan apakah terdapat pengaruh simultan antara motivasi kerja guru dan persepsi
guru terhadap supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMPN 1 Bone
Bone.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian
ex-post facto. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah guru-guru SMPN 1 Bone-Bone
di Kabupaten Luwu Utara, baik yang berstatus ASN maupun guru honorer.
Jumlah guru yang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 49
orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan Teknik Sampling Total.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Pengaruh motivasi kerja guru
terhadap kinerja guru di SMPN 1 Bone-Bone memberikan kontribusi sebesar
30,9%, 2) Pengaruh persepsi guru tentang supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap
kinerja guru di SMPN 1 Bone-Bone memberikan kontribusi sebesar 25,5%, dan 3)
Terdapat pengaruh simultan antara motivasi kerja guru dan persepsi guru tentang
supervisi kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru di SMPN 1 Bone-Bone sebesar
38,9%.
Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah memberikan masukan awal bagi
pengawas dan Dinas Pendidikan, agar dapat menciptakan motivasi kerja guru
yang kondusif dan meningkatkan persepsi guru tentang supervisi kepala sekolah
di kalangan guru. Disarankan untuk mengaktifkan kegiatan Komunitas Belajar,
baik di internal maupun eksternal sekolah di wilayahnya. Berdasarkan analisis
data penelitian dan pengujian hipotesis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa motivasi kerja
guru dan persepsi guru tentang supervisi kepala sekolah dapat mempengaruhi
kinerja guru di SMPN 1 Bone-Bone.

This study examines the Influence of Work Motivation and Teacher
Perception of Principal Supervision on Teacher Performance at SMPN 1 Bone
Bone post-pandemic. Its aim is to determine the influence of each variable and
whether there is a simultaneous influence between teacher work motivation and
teacher perception of principal supervision on teacher performance at SMPN 1
Bone-Bone.
This research is a quantitative study with an ex-post facto research design.
The population of this study consists of teachers of SMPN 1 Bone-Bone in North
Luwu District, both civil servants (ASN) and honorary teachers. The total number
of teachers included in the population is 49. This study employs Total Sampling
Technique.
The results of this study indicate that: 1) The influence of teacher work
motivation on teacher performance at SMPN 1 Bone-Bone contributes by 30.9%,
2) The influence of teacher perception of principal supervision on teacher
performance at SMPN 1 Bone-Bone contributes by 25.5%, and 3) There is a
simultaneous influence between teacher work motivation and teacher perception
of principal supervision on teacher performance at SMPN 1 Bone-Bone by 38.9%.
The implications of this research are to provide initial input for
supervisors and the Department of Education to create conducive teacher work
motivation and improve teacher perception of principal supervision among
teachers. It is recommended to activate Learning Community activities, both
internally and externally, within the school's region. Based on the analysis of
research data and hypothesis testing, it can be concluded that teacher work
motivation and teacher perception of principal supervision can influence teacher
performance at SMPN 1 Bone-Bone.
