Abstract

ABSTRAK
Susilvana Pasiangan, 2024.” Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam
pengembangan kompetensi digital guru di SMPIT Insan Madani Palopo”,
Skripsi Program Studi Manajemen Pendidikan Islam Fakultas Tarbiyah dan
Ilmu Keguruan Institut Agama Islam Negeri Palopo. Dibimbing oleh
Nasaruddin dan Syamsu Sanusi.
Skripsi ini membahas tentang kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam
pengembangan kompetensi digital guru di SMP Islam Terpadu (SMPIT) Insan
Madani Palopo. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini yaitu : untuk mengetahui
kepemimpinan kepala sekolah di SMPIT Insan Madani Palopo dan untuk
mengetahui kompetensi digital guru di SMPIT Insan Madani Palopo serta
mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat kepala sekolah dalam
mengembangkan kompetensi digital guru.
Jenis penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan
data dari penelitian ini yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Data dan
sumber data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Adapun teknik
analisis data yang diambil adalah redukasi data, penyajian data dan penarikan
kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tipe kepemimpinan kepala sekolah
dalam pengembangan kompetensi digital guru di SMPIT Insan Madani palopo
adalah tipe kepemimpinan demokratis dengan upaya melakukan pengembangan
profesionalitas guru, melakukan pemantauan dan evaluasi. Selanjutnya, kompetensi
digital guru di SMPIT Insan Madani Palopo ditekankan pada kompetensi digital
guru dalam mendesain pembelajaran, melaksanakan pembelajaran, serta penilaian
pembelajaran. Selain itu, mengikuti pelatihan yang di selenggarakan oleh
pemerintah dan evaluasi yang dilakukan oleh Kepala sekolah setiap bulan agar
mendapatkan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh guru-guru dalam bidang
kompetensi digital. Adapun permasalahan terkait kompetensi digital guru yaitu;
tingkat kemahiran yang bervariasi dan akses sumber daya yang belum cukup.
Kemudian, faktor pendukung dan penghambat kepala sekolah dalam
pengembangan kompetensi digital guru, faktor pendukung yaitu adanya bantuan
pemerintah dan kerja sama guru, faktor penghambat yaitu sarana dan prasarana
yang perlu perbaikan dan upgrade yang digunakan oleh guru untuk
mengintegrasikan kompetensi digitalnya.

Islamic Education Management Study Program, Faculty of Tarbiyah and

This thesis discusses the type of leadership of the principal in developing
teacher digital competence at SMP Islam Terpadu (SMPIT) Insan Madani Palopo
and the principal's efforts in developing teacher digital competence and teacher
digital competence at SMP Islam Terpadu (SMPIT) Insan Madani Palopo as well
as the head's inhibiting factors. schools in developing teacher digital competence.
The aim of this research is: to determine the leadership of the principal at SMPIT
Insan Madani Palopo and to determine the digital competence of teachers at SMPIT
Insan Madani Palopo and to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors for
school principals in developing teachers' digital competence.
The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection
techniques from this research are interviews, observation and documentation. The
data and data sources used are primary data and secondary data. The data analysis
techniques taken are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions.
The results obtained from research on school principal leadership in
developing teacher digital competence at SMPIT Insan Madani Palopo include;
The school principal's type of leadership in developing teacher digital competency
at SMPIT Insan Madani Palopo is a democratic leadership type.The school
principal's efforts in developing teacher digital competency include developing
teacher professionalism, monitoring and evaluating.The digital competence of
teachers at SMPIT Insan Madani Palopo can be emphasized on the digital
competence of teachers in designing learning, the digital competence of teachers in
implementing learning, the digital competence of teachers in carrying out learning
assessments.The school principal provides motivation in the form of guidance for
teachers to improve their digital competence by participating in training provided
by the government, and the school principal also conducts evaluations every month
so that the school principal gets clarity regarding the problems faced by teachers
in the field of digital competence. However, teachers' digital competence is
inadequate due to several factors, namely, varying levels of proficiency, inadequate
access to resources.The supporting and inhibiting factors for school principals in
developing teacher digital competence are the supporting factors of government
assistance and teacher motivation and cooperation. Then the inhibiting factors for
school principals in developing digital competence are the infrastructure that needs
to be repaired and upgraded the infrastructure used by teachers to integrating its
digital competencies.
