Skripsi ini membahas tentang Efektivitas Model LAPS Heuristic (Logan
Avenue Problem Solving) Heuristic Terhadap Pemecahan Masalah Matematika
SMPN Satap Tolemo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1). Kemampuan
pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran dengan
model LAPS-Heuristic dan yang tidak memperoleh pembelajaran dengan model
LAPS-Heuristic. 2). Efektivitas model LAPS-Heuristic terhadap peningkatan
kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa di kelas VIII SMPN Satap
Tolemo.
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian true eksperimen dengan tipe
pre-test and post-test control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam
penelitian ini adalah sampel jenuh, dengan jumlah sampel 44 orang siswa. Data
diperoleh melalui observasi dan tes. Kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan
statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial.
Hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut: 1) Aktivitas peserta didik selama
menggunakan model pembelajaran LAPS (Logan Avenue Problem Solving)
Heuristic berada pada kategori baik dengan nilai 73,47% . Aktivitas guru berada
pada kategori sangat baikdengan nilai 91,53%. 2) Kemampuan pemecahan
masalah matematika siswa sebelum menggunakan model pembelajaran LAPS
(Logan Avenue Problem Solving) Heuristic berada pada kategori sangat rendah
dengan rat-rata 5,54%. 3) Kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa
setelah menggunakan model pembelajaran LAPS (Logan Avenue Problem
Solving) Heuristic berada pada kategori tinggi dengan rata-rata 86,9%. 4) Model
pembelajaran LAPS (Logan Avenue Problem Solving) Heuristic efektif terhadap
pemecahan masalam matematika pada SMPN Satap Tolemo. Hal ini dibuktikan
dari perhitungan nilai rata-rata kedua data dimana nilai pre-test 5,54% dan nilai
post-test 86,9%.

This thesis discusses the Effect of the LAPS Heuristic Model (Logan
Avenue Problem Solving) Heuristic on Solving Mathematics Problems at SMPN
Satap Tolemo. This study aims: To determine the mathematical problem solving
ability of students who obtain learning with the Laps-Heuristic model and who do
not obtain learning with the Laps-Heuristic model. This study also aims to
determine the effect of the Laps-Heuristic model on improving students'
mathematical problem solving skills in grade VIII SMPN Satap Tolemo.
This study used a true experimental research design with pre-test and post-
test control group design types. The sampling technique in this study was a
saturated sample, with a sample of 44 students. Data are obtained through
observation and tests. Then the data is analyzed using descriptive statistics and
inferential statistics.
The results of this study are as follows: 1) Student activities while using
the LAPS (Logan Avenue Problem Solving) Heuristic learning model are in the
good category with a value of 73.47%. Teacher activity is in the very good
category with a score of 91.53%. 2) Students' mathematical problem solving
ability before using the LAPS (Logan Avenue Problem Solving) Heuristic
learning model was in the very low category with an average of 5.54%. 3)
Students' math problem solving ability after using the LAPS (Logan Avenue
Problem Solving) Heuristic learning model was in the high category with an
average of 86.9%. 4) The LAPS (Logan Avenue Problem Solving) Heuristic
learning model affects the solving of mathematics problems at SMPN Satap
Tolemo. This is evidenced from the calculation of the average value of both data
where the pre-test value is 5.54% and the post-test value is 86.9%. Then it can be
concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted.
